Tech Jobs
TechFutures is committed to providing training that contributes to our students' career readiness. This means teaching how to find, apply for, interview for and land jobs, but it also includes career assessment, goal setting, financial planning and other supporting skills that prepare young people for success in the world of work.
Some of these things students learn on the job through project work and internships during the TechFutures program. Others are taught in a series classes offered by TechFutures staff and affiliates who are professionals in their fields. These workshops expose our students to personal finance and employment strategies that will get them started on their career path. We also present career panels to connect students to role models in industry, and to give them perspective on the various career paths that are open to them.
